Champion Modular / New Era at 451 Southern Ave Strattanville, PA is seeking to hire a full-time Drywall & Tiler Production Workers to join our team and perform quality work on the production line to build manufactured housing. The training pay rate for this position is $12.00/hr with minimal skill and experience. A COMPETATIVE BONUS RATE IS OFFERED FOR APPLICANTS WITH PRIOR TRAINING AND MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE! As a Production Worker, you come to work armed with energy, wit, and the willingness to pitch in with the team. Every member of our production team is a key contributor to the process of making manufactured housing by focusing on maintaining the highest quality, safe work behaviors, solid teamwork, and continuous improvement of the manufacturing processes. Because of your constant, clear communication, your team is able to achieve group goals. By accurately reading a tape measure, blueprints, and orders, you are able to safely and expertly use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools to perform quality work.


  • High school diploma or equivalent OR at least six months of related experience/training
  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift/move up to 50 lbs

Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing is desired, but not required. Do you have a passion for building? Are you attentive to safety? The typical schedule for this position is 6:30 am - 3:00 pm, Monday-Friday

Schedule may vary depending on production needs and overtime, though kept to a minimum, changes in scheduled shifts may be required.

Job Description:

  • Able to apply mud on 1st and 2nd coats with a high degree of quality.
  • Flexibility and willingness to perform other duties in addition to tape and texture.
  • Must work well with others as a team and able to take direction to accomplish goals.
  • Highly productive & motivated with a sense of urgency to meet a demanding work schedule.
  • Punctual with good attendance.
  • Must pay particular attention to safety and quality.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
