Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Perform various accounting functions for construction business unit
• Manage the monthly project-based revenue recognition analysis, accounting and reporting
• Prepare invoices for construction business unit including cash receipts and application
• Prepare and process journal entries at a business unit level
• Maintain job cost work in progress (WIP) schedules weekly, including revenue and cost of sales recognition
• Assist business unit with maintaining internal controls and compliance with SOX
• Review inter-company reports to ensure balancing between companies
• Assist with accounts payable invoice review and project cost allocation
• Review and reconcile AR monthly, provide reporting and support for collections
• Review and analyze cost estimates
• Prepare and review monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
• Perform and supervise monthly close activities
• Supervise team member's involvement in accounting activities
• Assist in annual budget preparation
• Assist in the monthly forecasting for the business unit
• Continued focus on standardization and process improvement in the business unit processes
• Assist management with ad hoc financial requests and special projects

Qualifications / Skills

• NAV general ledger software experience a plus
• Construction industry experience including project accounting a plus
• Ability to prioritize workload and tasks
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting from a four-year university or college, 5 to 7 years of experience in financial reporting or accounting role. Experience managing a team.
