Reports to: Terminal Manager
Status: Non-Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for: Driver pay
Deductions from driver pay (keeping accurate records of such)
Logs & Driver Compliance
Keeping drivers files up to date
Collecting money on back hauls
Ensuring all paperwork for trips are turned in (includes fuel tax sheets, logs, etc)
KEY PERFORMANCE FACTORS
Safety and Compliance
- Maintain current knowledge of industry specific certification, compliance and regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of Canadian DOT regulations where applicable
Education and Experience
- College degree or equivalent experience
- 2 4 years of experience transportation beneficial
- 1-2 years management experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of transportation industry and regulations
- Analytical ability
- Critical thinking for independent decisions and problem solving
- Basic math computational skills
- Written, verbal and interpersonal communication
- Planning, organizing and time management
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and transportation software
- Customer service acumen
